I made some super yummy snacks yesterday that my family ate way to quickly!
Put peanut butter between 2 cheese-it crackers and coat with melted chocolate. I think you're supposed to wait for the chocolate to harden before serving but i know a bunch didn't make it that long at my house.

Mmm, recipe...For snacks we like to melt some butter, a pat or two, in a sauce pan then add a few cups of cornflakes or cheerio's. In this case do not use the brand name, at least for the cheerio's, because they have a slight coating of sugar which turns gross. Then you toss them around in it and it's toasty and crunchy and delicious. If you want to vary it you can add a dash of garlic or onion powder or parmesan cheese.

Going to the tree farm to pick out our live tree is an important tradition for us! Recipe -- easy fresh bread. Mix together 3 cups of flour, some salt, and one packet of dry yeast. Mix. Stir in 1.5 cups of warm water and stir together. Dough will be rough. Set aside in covered bowl for 4-12 hours. When you return to the dough, put an empty dutch oven into an oven and preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Fold the dough over a few times (you may want to sprinkle on flour at this step) and then let it sit for approximately 30 minutes. Drop into hot dutch oven and put the lid on. Bake for 20-30 minutes with lid on and then remove the lid and bake 10 minutes longer. You will have delicious bread with a crisp crackly crust. I love it!

when my mom made pie, she always made extra crust and would roll it into little strips and spread a little butter and some cinnamon sugar, then rolls the pieces up like little mini cinnamon rolls. They were so yummy, and we got to eat them hot out of the oven!I do this too when I have extra pie crust now :)
